The situation of today is often that less must produce more. At certain occasions that is even more evident. Not the least during the last period of the year. Many projects must be ready until year end and many other bits and pieces must fall in place.
During the year, many companies have chosed to implement a structured integration solution. The old way of hand tailoring "spagetthi integrations" has decreased, not the least because of today's business climate. It has to do with time, reducing manual operations and increased need of agility. And also new demands on the IT systems and better business process support. It is simply not good enough today to work with the old fashioned way of integration - intrusive, reactive, fragile and project oriented person dependent "once off" integrations. And due to that, to risk being even more "locked into" existing IT infrastructure.
We at iCore have been more than fully booked for a long time and we notice that many of our collegues in the business integration and SOA business has been busy as well. The huge interest may also be observed by many new big IT vendors entering the integration business arena, with their own R&D or through acqusitions. The central message is often SOA enablement with all the promises of reuse and cost reductions. A structured integration solution today is the essential backbone for business agility.
At many occasions during the year, we have got feedback saying that our iCore Integration Suite and our product development exceeded the expectations and offered great value for the money. With our way of thinking - robustness, agility, scalability, traceability and step-wise introduction/investment, we complement and "modernize" our customer's existing IT investments - always together with our customer's personnel (IT/Line of Business) and other IT application vendors. During the year, we have signed many interesting agreements. Not the least new partner agreements, often in cooperation with IBM, where we complement their WebSphere BI solutions.

ATEA has chosen iCore
A comprehensive e-business B2B and integration project has been started up at Atea, the Nordic giant within IT infrastructure. During the autumn Atea has evaluated the iCore concept in a business integration Proof of Concept solution with two of their suppliers. The result was good and now Atea has started a roll-out phase. Atea has established its own iCore Developer competence in house. In the pilot project Atea has been using the iCore IBS ASW Adapter for integration with their Swedish ERP system.
iCore delivers Adapters to ESAB, world wide! The British ESAB Group upgrades their iCore Adapter usage to Enterprise usage in cooperation with IBM. ESAB is the world’s largest producer of welding consumables and equipment. In connection with the roll-out of the latest version of Lawson M3 (Movex), ESAB has given IBM Global Services the mission to implement a flexible integration solution. In this case, it means that the iCore Adapters SOA-enable their ERP systems and applications in combination with their IBM WebSphere ESB.
Cardo extend iCore to Enterprise usage
Cardo ABS Pump has been using iCore Process Server for several years with a good result. Now the industrial group, Cardo AB, has signed a license for Enterprise usage. This means that several business areas have introduced iCore within business integration. During the year many integration projects have been performed in many countries. For example customer EDI, CRM integration, product configurators and ERP systems.
This year we support Save the Children
For many years we have chosen not to send Christmas presents or post cards. Instead we give our Christmas money to a deserving need. This year we have chosen the organisation Save the Children.
