iNews 2007 - 06 Summer is here! Time flies, as usual, this time of the year. You can almost smell our Swedish Midsummer party in the air and the summer holidays are approaching by leaps and bounds. There is an economic boom that makes most companies feel the rush. Then we should clean out our e-mail inboxes, clear our desks etc…if we can find the time, that is. There are many projects to finish before the holidays may start. Within the integration area, everyone is talking SOA. The analysts and the big dragons in the US are pushing on. It is promising to hear assurances of a simpler and better IT architecture, systems that can communicate with one another, “recycling” and more industrialized IT usage. But, as usual, nothing will happen by itself. The connection between business, processes and IT is as difficult as ever, but evidently there are better and better tools available. However, it is still perfectly possible to run an integration project into the sand… Here you find some reading tips for the wireless laptop, if you wish to improve you knowledge of the latest trends in SOA while lying in the hammock. ”Considering SOA? The team at iCore would like to wish you all a very nice summer with a lot of sunshine and lazy days in the summer house, the boat, at the seaside or maybe down South. So that we can all start up again after the holidays, rested, refreshed and eager for an exciting autumn of IT integration.
New office space in Stockholm – again! ! For some time, we have been busy renovating our new office in Stockholm. The office is located on Industrigatan 4B, just a few blocks from Västermalmsgallerian. The renovation is in its last phase and we have already moved in and started working. We are still waiting for some deliveries of furniture, but the final result is becoming discernible now. We look forward to show our new premises after the summer holidays. More info will follow… |
Extended support hours, including weekends On some customer’s behalf, we have now introduced extended hours for the Support/Helpdesk. It means that customers with a special support agreement have access to support after ordinary office hours on weekdays, and during the weekend. Are you also interested in getting access to our extended support? Please, contact your ordinary sales contact or someone else within Sales. |
