Cloud integration at Berlingske Media
Berlingske Media is one of the major media groups in Denmark.
The group runs more than 200 news media (newspapers, web sites,
magazines, mobile sites and newsletters) and has its own printing
facilities, prepress services, communications/PR bureau and
distribution.
Berlingske have adopted a contemporary IT strategy and have chosen
to use several administrative applications as cloud services. To
get an efficient sales and publication process, the three
applications needed to be integrated with one another, so that
customer data, account data, publication messages and orders could
be automatically updated where it was required. Since all involved
applications are run as cloud solutions, the solution from iCore
was set up as an iCore-as-a-Service (iCaaS) solution to which
Berlingske subscribe - all in line with the Salesforce model.
"It is exciting with customers who adopt new technology and new
ways of working", says Carl-Adam Wachtmeister, Key Account Manager
at iCore Solutions. "We have solutions for traditional
installations as well as cloud solutions - all based on what the
customer wants. The solution for Berlingske has been set up in
close cooperation with Salesforce in Denmark, but we are also
having discussions with customers in Sweden, who wish to integrate
Salesforce.com in a cloud solution."
