More iCore integration at Atea
Atea have been using iCore Integration Suite as integration
platform for many years. With staff who are iCore trained
and highly-qualified, the integration architecture
is continuously further developed in-house and adapted to new
conditions.
Presently, a major work in progress is the task
of replacing the old ERP system with MS Dynamics NAV.
Since this is a big task, including a vast amount of integrations,
it is performed stepwise. The project will continue during the
autumn. The integration design at Atea is loosely coupled, in
accordance with SOA principles. From an integration point of view,
this considerably simplifies the ERP system exchange and the
project has been running according to plan.
During the last year, Atea have also carried out a complete
integration of Office 365, Microsoft's cloud based office
collaboration software. This integration covers all business
procedures, from Order to Payment.
"iCore Integration Suite has enabled us to build
a loosely coupled integration structure, which is easy to
develop and change. You could say that iCore is made for change and
we all know that business conditions and IT infrastructure will
develop over time. With iCore, adapting is simple and safe", says
Jessica Gidlund, responsible for IT integration at Atea since
2006.
