Keeping your IT maintenance cost-effective and easy to manage is
primarily a question of having an IT architecture with built-in
traceability, alarm functionality, redundancy and efficient tools
for correcting errors without losing any information. With the
right tools you are in control - without them, a simple error may
have multiple effects and will cost a lot of time and money to
correct.
What makes our solutions different?
So, what is so different with the iCore products? Many suppliers
could probably provide most of the functionality we have described
- in one way or another.
In iCore Integration Suite,
however, traceability, extensive tracking functions, redundancy and
alarm functionality have been built in from start. It is all there,
ready to be used instantly. And not only that, the functionality is
configurable to suit your needs.
The iCore products let you be in control of all data that flows
between your IT systems in the same way as the logistics manager is
in control of all products - this is what is called Information
Logistics.
- How to keep track - Logging
The iCore software creates ordinary log records that describe what
has happened at a certain time. This will pinpoint the record to a
certain place in an information flow. Furthermore, a log record may
also refer to a node. The node is a "snapshot" that displays data
and meta data at a certain point in the information flow. Through
this reference, you are down to the most detailed information and
you will be able to investigate exactly what has happened to the
data in the flow.

Traceability
The iCore software enables you to build powerful filters to
select, sort and group entities of different types for viewing, for
example partners, nodes (snapshots) or events.
- Get the right type of warning, in time! -
Alarm
A proper alarm functionality is one that will alert you in your
preferred channel when something is wrong. You decide the
channels(s) to be used, for example an e-mail alert or a text
message on your mobile phone. If you wish, the software can create
an Error Reporting Event that carries an Event Parameter which
shows the Id of the event with which the faulty information flow is
associated. In this way you will know exactly where the error
occurred.
- Avoiding problems - Health checks
To be in full control, you can get regular "Is alive"-messages,
ensuring you that everything is working as it should. Another
option is to perform regular health checks on your system. With a
simple report function, the result can be presented in a user
friendly way, on the intranet or in an e-mail.
