A new chapter begins at iCore – welcoming our new CEO

After 25 years as CEO and founder, Mikael Boquist is stepping down, and we at iCore are delighted to welcome Gösta Thorell as our new Chief Executive Officer.

This marks the beginning of a new chapter in iCore’s journey. With a strong foundation, loyal customers, and a robust product portfolio, we’re now ready to accelerate our growth and innovation – with a particular focus on AI and new digital solutions around our iPaaS platform.

Gösta brings extensive experience from the IT industry, having led both product and consulting companies. He joins iCore through our parent company, Volaris Group, part of Constellation Software, the world’s 8th largest software company.

– iCore is a well-positioned company with strong customers, skilled employees, and a technically solid product portfolio, says Gösta Thorell. There’s enormous potential in what we already have – and even greater opportunities ahead, especially as we accelerate our AI initiatives.

Mikael will remain with iCore, focusing on business development, customer relations, and sales.
