iCore's integration platform provides Porcher Industries with efficient order processes

Porcher Industries manufactures textile products for aviation, automotive, construction, interior design and several other industries. With customers all over the world and high demand for fast deliveries, Porcher's processes are under constant pressure.

In order to remain competitive in a fast-paced market, Porcher needs to be able to optimize their order flows and minimize manual administration. Automated processes save both time and resources while guaranteeing accurate results, every time. That's why Porcher Industries uses iCore's partner iGate Consulting for efficient system integration. The goal is to make sure that no important elements slip through the cracks.

"An important factor in all B2B communication is that in-house systems give you logging and receipts of correct processes. You can easily see the format of data content that was communicated to the customer. All of this is built into iCore and makes troubleshooting so much easier,"

iCore's integration platform gives Porcher:

  • Complete integration between systems! Instead of Porcher having to outsource its communication and syntax translation to a third party, iCore efficiently handles all file handling. This gives Porcher full control over the process. In addition, iCore can be configured to use different types of communication, for example, the built-in AS2 functionality.
  • Flawless logging! Any deviations and errors are automatically reported to customer service.
  • Simple overview for employees! Depending on their area of responsibility, iCore users can easily log in and view relevant information concerning their flows and customers.

An EDI solution that simplifies communication between systems

Porcher has a variety of customers with different needs. They handle everything from discrete customer orders and VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) processes or delivery plans to packaging notifications and invoices. Some delivery plans can contain hundreds of items with thousands of call-off items, which are handled through iCore's integration system. A complex challenge that iCore solves by connecting to M3's APIs in order to effectively manage communication between the systems.

"By using iCore, we get an overall solution regarding communication and the possibility of having everything in-house, which gives the customer complete control. An important factor in all B2B communication is that in-house systems give you logging and receipts of correct processes. You can easily see the format of data content that was communicated to the customer. All of this is built into iCore and makes troubleshooting so much easier," says Henrik Rundcrantz, Founder of iGate Consulting, which is a partner of iCore.

Thanks to iCore's integration platform and iGate Consulting, Porcher is able to implement and support a fully integrated EDI solution with their customers. The automation resulted in Porcher's customer service becoming more efficient and less time-consuming.

All customer orders are now automatically updated, which allows Porcher to have better overall management of their customer service.
