Anna secures the delivery

With many years of experience in integration and project management, Anna Björklund is more than ready for her new role as delivery manager at iCore.

- The reception has been very nicely prepared by iCore. Relevant briefings and presentations about different parts of the company have quickly given me a good foundation and I feel genuinely welcome and appreciated.

Hi Anna, when did you start at iCore?

I only started two weeks ago, so it's very new. But I still don't feel like "new-to-the-job", it just feels nice and fun, which says a lot about the inclusive atmosphere here.

Tell me what you're going to work on!

I will start as a delivery manager, which means that I will be the link between the customer and the team, the one who maintains communication with the customer and breaks down the task into developable parts that are then delegated to the team. It is also the role of the delivery manager to pick up the parts, tie the bag together and ensure final delivery to the customer.

What is your background?

Before I started at iCore, I worked for many years with different types of integrations and integration tools. I have worked both on the developer side, as sub-project and project manager and solution manager.

How come you want to work at iCore?

I have known the company for many years, as paths crossed in different ways via collaborations at previous workplaces. Since several former colleagues started working here, my positive image of iCore as an employer and workplace has only been reinforced, so when I saw a job ad on LinkedIn, I didn't hesitate. Already in the job advertisement there was a good feeling of warmth and humanity and that feeling has already been confirmed. In addition, I was attracted by the broad role, as I really like customer contact, communication and close work in a team.

How have your first weeks at iCore been?

The reception has been, and is, very nicely prepared by iCore, I am very happy about it. Relevant briefings and presentations from and about different parts of the company have quickly given me a good foundation and I feel genuinely welcome and appreciated. The onboarding routines work very well, simply.

What do you want and can you add to iCore?

After many years in integration, first with business systems as a developer and programmer, I bring with me an understanding of business flows that will hopefully create benefit in the projects, both internally and towards the customer. I would also like to contribute with my knowledge and experience in project management. With my experience from, among other things, preliminary studies and integration work in early phases, I know that a good start is crucial for every project and here my skills can be part of the success. My ability to switch between zoom and helicopter perspective will also be an asset, as will my experience of working with integration from several different perspectives.

Do you work from home or the office?

As a new employee, I really appreciate being in the office and taking part in collegial togetherness and I will be mainly office-based until I am warm in my clothes. However, I also appreciate the opportunity to work from home and it's nice to know that I will be able to do that. Life works best with that freedom of choice.
