iCore gets reinforcement on sale

iCore in Gothenburg now welcomes Petra Henriksson and David Sonnerbäck, both with extensive experience from the customer side and as IT purchasers. Petra has a background as, among other things, sales manager and brand strategist, and David has previously worked with IT infrastructure and had project responsibility.

At iCore, salespeople, consultants and support work in teams to create the best value for customers. The goal for Petra and David is now to help iCore grow, mainly with new customers.

How come you guys started at iCore?

David: iCore is a company I've heard a lot about, both from when I worked at Atea and from iCore's Tomas Zorjan and Hillevi Salerno, who I worked with a few years ago. I am also interested in IT and technology, and see this as a great opportunity for personal development and the chance to try something new.

Petra: I am very interested in IT. For many years I have worked as a buyer and experienced frustration with slow processes, sloppy implementations and poorly optimized self-built customer portals. IT should be simple and iCore has a model for customer adaptation and long-termism that I really like. iCore builds solutions where the company can grow unhindered without getting stuck in systems.

What are you taking with you to iCore?

Petra: A burning interest in sales. Among other things, I have worked at Taxi Göteborg as marketing, communications and sales manager and sold platforms to other companies. I was also 13 years at Ontime Logistics where I have had various roles, most recently as site manager at the Gothenburg office where I was responsible for sellers and forwarders. I was also involved in starting up the Lime CRM system. For a short time I was also a photographer in the Mexican jungle. Marketing and sales have somehow always been part of my roles.

David: Most recently, I come from the IT provider Remote24, where I helped start up sales from scratch and was responsible for helping customers implement new cloud solutions. Before that, I was a customer and project manager at ATEA, where I mainly worked to help customers with cloud management, IT operations and other IT issues.

What do you hope to bring to iCore?

David: Of course, sales skills and experience in IT, but also softer values such as curiosity, commitment and helpfulness. I can also understand the customer and the user's perspective and find it easy to explain complex issues and find the solution that best suits a specific customer.

Petra: I understand the importance of having fast and efficient processes, along with structure. I am committed and like to be organized. Just like David, I like to make the complicated easy to understand and former colleagues would probably describe me as energetic and curious.

What are you most looking forward to?

Petra: Be part of a team, work towards set goals and make new contacts. When I first came to iCore, I got the feeling that people have fun at work here and I feel warmly welcomed.

David: Take on new business opportunities and break new ground together with new colleagues, and of course new meetings with potential customers that lead to the first deal!
