ASSA ABLOY – large focus on business integration

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is a global division within the ASSA ABLOY group. Since 2011, ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems has more than doubled its size, primarily through acquisitions.

A prerequisite for success in its seamless flow projects, which is really a hot topic within Entrance Systems, is from an IT perspective, and focuses on integration and creating a loosely coupled SOA architecture to support the continuously changing world the division is facing.

-Martin Almroth, Program Manager E-Solutions and Integrations- The SOA architecture that we are using supports us to be able to extend and adjust both front-end solutions as well as back-end solutions. The platform also supports intraTrade between the different back-end systems. On division level, we have a strategy to develop centralized front-end solutions that need to be integrated to the back-end systems of all our business areas. As we acquire more companies, a good integration platform is a cornerstone to be able to support those connections, together with another key word for our business, SPEED. iCore Integration Suite is that cornerstone for us, and we have almost 10 years of successful cooperation together.

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is a leading supplier of entrance automation solutions for efficient flow of goods and people. With our worldwide presence we offer products and services dedicated to satisfying end-user needs for safe, secure, convenient and sustainable operations. ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is a division within ASSA ABLOY.
