Outdoor company Bergans Fritid is gearing up for its cloud journey!

Bergans of Norway has been driven by dedicated and passionate outdoor enthusiasts for over a century. Founded in 1908, Bergans has played a major role in Norwegian outdoor life for more than a century. Bergans introduced and patented the backpack as we know it today, an invention famous polar explorers such as Amundsen and Scott recognized and used on their expeditions.

In October, Bergans Fritid and iCore signed an agreement to integrate Bergans e-commerce, POS, PIM, and ERP (business systems). iCore will be the integration platform that enables fast and reliable communication between the various IT systems that Bergans uses today. In addition to replacing purely manual tasks, the systems will be updated with the most current information with a frequency that is difficult to achieve with manual routines. The ability to connect new systems easily means that Bergans can quickly respond to new requests from both customers and suppliers.
